The heart is a very important
organ in the human body that is located in the chest like a pump. The heart plays an important role in the
transport of blood, including oxygen, to different parts of the body through
regular contraction and expansion. The
continuous contraction of the heart is called systole and expansion is called
diastole. When the heart is diastolic,
blood from different parts of the body enters the heart through the veins. When there is a systole in the heart, blood
flows from the heart to different parts of the body through the semen.
The location of the heart:
The human heart is located in
the middle of the thoracic cavity and above the diaphragm. The heart is conical in shape with a length
of 13 cm and a width of 6 cm. The human
heart weighs around 300 grams. The color
of the heart is actually reddish or pink but deep red when bloody and pale red
when blood is zero.
The heart is covered by a
pericardium membrane. The human heart
consists of four chambers, the upper chamber being called right ventricle and
left ventricle and the lower two chambers being called right ventricle and left
ventricle. The tricuspid valve is
located at the junction of the right atrium and right ventricle of the heart,
and the bicuspid valve at the junction of the left atrium and left ventricle. In addition, Semilunar valve of the heart is
located at the junction of the pulmonary artery and the right ventricle as well
as at the junction of the left ventricle and aorta.
Function of heart:
When the two atria are in the diastolic state, contaminated
blood from all over the body enters the right atrium through the upper and
lower veins, and pure blood from the lungs enters the left atrium.
The atrial systole occurs after the blood
vessels are filled, then the blood from the atrium enters through the valves
and at this time the ventricle remains in diastolic state. Systole occurs when the blood is full,
contaminated blood from the right ventricle travels through the pulmonary
arteries to the lungs, and pure blood from the left ventricle enters the aorta
and spreads throughout the body.
Later, when the ventricle is in the systolic state, the
atrium is in the diastolic state, so blood re-enters the atrium. Thus, systolic and diastolic recurrences
occur periodically and blood flow to the heart continues.
Heartbeat:
The heartbeat can be felt by placing the stethoscope mouse
on the left side of the chest as well as radial artery of the wrist. The heartbeat felt on the wrist is called
pulse, and the sound of the heartbeat felt with a stethoscope is called heart
sound. The heart of an adult beats an
average of 70 to 80 beats per minute.
Various diseases of heart:
The world rely more on machinery
instead of physical labor so human obesity has increased a lot and physical
ability has decreased a lot. In today's
world, the civilization stands on mechanical works and the obesity is
increasing day by day. Now the World has faced many Heart disease that’s are
given below.
Heart block
This defect is called a heart block if the outputs of the cardiac heart flow are not flowing properly. Due to rich food when walls of blood vassals are thick, the flows of blood are disturbed.
Heart failure
When the heart loses its ability to contract regularly, it is called heart failure.
Heart attack:
A heart attack is a disease that occurs when the coronary arteries of the heart become blocked for any reason. Another name for this Heart attack is myocardial infarction. Coronary arteries of the heart may be blocked by rich food, lack of physical exercise, obesity etc
Coronary thrombosis:
Coronary thrombosis is a condition in which fat accumulates in the coronary arteries of the heart and narrows.
Arterio sclerosis:
Arterio Sclerosis occurs when the arterial wall becomes obese or loses elasticity for a variety of reasons.
Angina pectoris:
Angina pectoris is when the blood flow to the heart muscle decreases during fatigue and pain occurs below the chest.
Bradycardia & trichocardia:
Bradycardia is a condition that occurs when the heart rate is below 60 for various reasons. The condition that occurs when the heart rate is more than one hundred for various reasons is called trichocardia.
At present almost all the
countries of the world rely more on machinery instead of physical labor so
human obesity has increased a lot and physical ability has decreased a
lot. In today's world, there has been an
increase in the number of mental activities instead of physical work, as a result
of which the amount of weight has multiplied according to the height of the
person, which has led to obesity.
On the other hand, eating more
fast food and fatty foods has increased the level of cholesterol and has caused
various new diseases in the body starting from heart problems like diabetes,
weak heart, kidney problems etc. People
in every country of the world have to pay attention to maintain their physical
capacity in the space of different jobs and to be careful to maintain the
quality of important organs of the body like heart, kidney, lung, stomach etc.
